	Building and restoring cars and trucks since the mid 70s, restoration and high-end collision master Bart Williamson founded the FrameOff Foundation in 1999 with one thing in mind; passing on the knowledge of the art of auto restoration, a lost art some say.

	The FrameOff Foundation is dedicated to supporting, encouraging, and assisting all aspects of the automotive restoration field through a variety of goal oriented programs and projects:
·		Locating antique and classic automobiles for the purpose of preservation or restoration.
·		Implementing and assisting restoration apprenticeship and teaching programs.
·		Supporting development of new restoration equipment and tools that facilitate the restoration process in a safe and efficient manner.

·		Creating and supporting events that encourage restoration technicians to achieve the high standards needed to ensure the future of Concours restored automobiles.

·		Raising public awareness about auto restoration and the characteristics and value of untouched rare, classic, and antique vehicles in order to support their preservation.

·		Providing vehicle research and consulting services.



		Although the FrameOff Foundation has several ongoing projects, its primary purpose is restoration. The Foundation’s Education Program focuses on automotive history and technology, restoration methods, and the practical application skills needed to acheive success.

			Restoration expert Ross L. Stemple, the Foundation’s first two-year student of the art, took home his first international trophy from the honored Pebble Beach Concours D‘Elegance in 2006 and a second in 2007.
